John was a great influence in my life. He was a hero and a good guide. He showed me how to walk through the crowd with pride. Always on the go doing some adventure right up until he got dementia. With a glass of wine, tapas, a night on the town, with his head in a cloud and his feet on the ground, John was never short of a friend and will be missed by many until we meet again.
